Sometimes people need time to
cool off. Try phoning her again in a few days, and certainly
write to apologize and explain. Perhaps send a card (blatant plug)
from www.hugkiss.com
Then you have done your best and the ball is in
her court. And remember, if it's E-mail or chat, it's written and
once spoken, words can't be taken back. As you've learned to your sorrow,
think before you speak or write.

If she misunderstood things that
you WROTE, you need to tell her that you can't hear laughter in someone's
typing and that it's more dependant on her mood than spoken stuff
is.
Try saying you're sorry 1 more time and if it isn't
accepted, you do need to find another friend.

if she won't even let you apoligize then
she obviously doesn't value your friendship too much. All I can say is
that if she really is a great friend she will get tired of fighting
and get over it. I've been there and sometimes it works out and
sometimes it doesn't. Maybe this is a sign it's time for some new friends????
