I had to share this since there was an opportunity to. Sixteen months
ago I was in the middle of a six month long daily prayer for God to send
the man He had for me into my life. One morning my car broke down.
"God, " I ventured, " Maybe you didn't quite understand me...I asked for
a man not a broken car!"
I called a local shop in the town where
I live that sends mechanics out to where your car is saving you a towing
fee. They sent a guy right out. Several days later it broke down
again and they sent the same guy back to see what was wrong. One
thing led to another and we wound up going out for coffee just to chat.
Several days later he called to ask me out on Friday the 12th of December.
Wouldn't you know, of all the cosmic foul-ups that was the only night in
the past 4 years that I had a date. He asked me instead for the next
Friday (the 19th).
On Friday the 12th I was sitting in my office when flowers
were delivered, two dozen peach roses in the middle of winter! I thought
they were for the boss who got all the flowers...they were for me, the
first roses I have ever received in my life!
The card said, " See
you next Friday!" I turned to my co-workers and said , "You mark
my words, I'm going to marry this guy!"
Fourteen months later on
February 12th, 1999 we were married. We are the happiest we have
ever been in our whole lives. We are both in our forties and this
is the second marriage for us both. Our first experiences with marriage
were both horrible. The flowers won my heart !

My boyfriend came to work and he brought a book with him. He told
me to turn to a certain page, where I would find dishes that he liked.
So I turned to the page to find that he had glued the rest of the book
together but this one page. I then looked to see a page full of dishes and a picture of a clock. I came to discover that he had
put a hole where the face of the clock was and inside was a ring.
On the page of the book was written will you marry me. I picked
out the ring and started crying. my co-workers were taking pictures and
crying too! It was such a surprise. We are now getting married the fall of
this year!

Hi, want to tell my story. The Internet is a nice thing. I met my
soul mate, we both found each other in a weird way. I never go on Yahoo chat
but March 16 I did and my soul mate picked me out of the blue. We have been talking and
finding out how much we have in common. She is so wonderful, we are meeting
in June and we already plan on seeing each other. After that I am moving
to Ohio and we plan on getting married. We can't have kids
but we both want to grow old together.

I love the way my boyfriend reaches his hand behind his back for me
without looking to see if I'm there. He doesn't need to because he knows
that I'm there. M. Lawson.

Often he tells me that he wants to give me the world, what he doesn't
know, is that every time I look up into his eyes, he does just that!
Just thought I'd let you know! M. Wright.

The first Valentines day that my boyfriend and I had spent together
was so romantic. I will never forget it. First we went to this
small Chinese restaurant because that is my favorite. Then we went
for a long walk along this river just outside the city, all the lights
reflecting off the water lighting our path. Then we stopped at a small park
and sat on the swings and just talked. we sat there for hours but
it only seemed like a few minutes.

I met the most romantic man ever while vacationing in Cancun, Mexico.
When we made love he would whisper in my ear in Spanish and then translate it into English. I told him he didn't have to translate
because it sounded so beautiful anyway. He said "But if I translate it
for you, then I get to say it to you twice." I almost cried!

My fiance and I just went to Hue in Vietnam for the weekend where you
find the temples and palaces of the last dynasty in Vietnam. We've
had such great times....our slow boat ride on the Perfume river with the
sun on our faces...you hear nothing much except the boat and the water...we
held hands as we strolled through monuments, temples, parks. lakes...it
was so romantic...we never get tired of going on short vacations..just
alone
the two of us... Regina Reyes.
