    Subject: Quiet boyfriend.

I have this boyfriend and he has trouble expressing how he feels and alot of
times i feel like he doesn't like me at all. But other times it is different.
I really don't want to break up with him because i love him so much but he
hardly ever talks to me. We were almost closer when we were just friends except
we didn't hold hands and all that. What should I do??

Some people just aren't talkers. Though I emphasis talking things out when there
is a problem, in every day life I sometimes think there is too much emphasis
on it. You say you talked more when you were just friends. Perhaps he is feeling
shy and uncertain now the relationship has changed and is worried that he might
lose you! You can't know if that is so, since he hasn't said.
(yes, men can be very shy, what do you think that macho stuff covers anyway!)
Despite what the T.V. shows say, men feel very deeply, but a lot of them are
told from birth to shut it all up. Look for verbal clues and body language.
The little things he does for you, from bringing flowers perhaps to fixing your
car. Don't press him to talk about your relationship, lots of people find that
a mine field. Go with the flow and don't pressure him and he may open up again
    in time.
